I’m a heavy diesel mechanic by trade, working on large trucks and equipment every day. I’ve always had a passion for turning wrenches, whether it’s on the job or in my own garage. I’m into cars—especially my Mustang—and enjoy spending time upgrading, tuning, and keeping things running right. Outside of work, I’m also a firefighter, which has taught me the value of discipline, teamwork, and staying calm under pressure. On weekends, I like to unwind by going camping and getting outdoors. I take pride in keeping my tools clean and organized—both on the job and at home—because I believe a well-set-up workspace leads to better results. Hands-on, motivated, and always looking to improve.

I’m a Marine combat veteran who now juggles two full-time careers, I’ve been a licensed contractor for over 21 years and have served as a professional firefighter for the past 10. About a year ago, I started an Instagram page to share my passion for tools and show my collection through reviews and hands-on content. Beyond work, I’m a proud father of four and lucky to have an incredibly supportive wife who keeps our busy household running. Life’s definitely hectic, but if I had to name a hobby, it would be what I call “Tooling with Newman” finding joy in great tools and sharing that passion with others.
